Catarina

Catarina studied business at Manchester metropolitan university. Following university she took a position at BAE Systems in the commercial contracts department for the export of Hawk fighter jets. In this role she was promoted to senior contracts officer. In 2007 she moved to Chamonix in the French alps where she set up her own business as a freelance chef to chalet companies. This where she met Brendan her husband.

Catarina and Brendan spent 4 years in Chamonix before moving to Australia for a year. They both have a passion for travel and new places. Since being back in the UK for the last 5 years they have strived to create a successful business life together . They are a strong partnership who feels passionate about creating an exciting space for others and to enjoy themselves.

Catarina and Brendan currently manage 3 successful hospitality businesses in Blackpool. The Headlands Hotel, a 42 bedroom hotel, Colwyn Hotel, a 27 bedroom hotel and the Sandpiper holiday apartments. All businesses are within family ownership and have been trading for 30 years and 10 years respectively.

Catarina has a background in catering and hospitality working within successful family and personal businesses in the UK and France. Catarina’s strengths in the business will be in the management of the project and systems, customer relations and marketing. Catarina has strong organisational and practical management skills.

Brendan

Brendan studied Travel and Tourism in Australia. He worked for Harvey World travel for 5 years, he was the top selling agent in his agency. In 2005 he moved to London where he worked for American Express Corporate travel where he  managed business travel portfolios for Morgan Stanley. In 2007 he moved to Chamonix in the French alps, where he managed an airport and inter-resort transfer company for 4 years.

Brendan and his wife spent 4 years in Chamonix before moving to Australia for a year. They both have a passion for travel and new places. Since being back in the UK for the last 5 years they have strived to create a successful business life together . They are a strong partnership who feels passionate about creating an exciting space for others and to enjoy themselves.

Brendan has a background in travel agency, logistics and hospitality. Brendan has strong IT and Networking skills, along with practical management expertise, including system development and implementation. Brendan’s strengths in the business will be in project management, set up and implementation of the management systems, website and IT development.

Chris

Christopher studied business at Manchester Metropolitan university.

He worked in the Isle of Man for Fortis Bank in international tax planning and corporate structuring. 14 years ago he moved to Chamonix in the Frech alps where he fell in love with the mountain resort. He now owns and runs a successful apartment agency there. Snostation has been established for 12 years and manages 90 properties ranging from studio apartments to 10 bedrooms chalets.

Christopher also has a successful coworking office in Chamonix, which has recently expanded into larger business premises. Chris’s passion and success in the coworking sector has brought him to team up with his sister and brother in law to bring this exciting new concept to Preston.

Christopher has a background in hospitality, property management, international tax planning and coworking offices. Christopher has strong business planning and financial skills. His coworking experience will provide a foundation for business planning and operational support. Christopher’s strengths are his entrepreneurial approach to business and experience in working across multiple businesses.
