Our COVID-19 Safety policies.

We have all COVID-19 safety protocols in place throughout the building to ensure that all our members are safe and comfortable when working at Society1.

We are open.

We have been open and operating with all COVID Safety measures in place since summer 2020. We are fortunate that our space is large so we have capacity to spread out, following social distancing and work in a safe way.

Measures we have implemented throughout the building:

Desk partitions:

Individual desks are spaced out according to social distancing requirements.

Our group desks are all fitted with clear perspex partitions providing screening between work stations.

 Social distancing:

We are so lucky that we have space at Society1. We have been able to space desks and work stations out so that we follow the social distancing protocols. Our social spaces have lots of options too, so everyone will be able to take space for their lunch and coffee breaks. We ask all members to be considerate when using the shared areas such as the kitchen and allow adequate space for all.

If you are visiting for the day or here for a meeting we operate a contactless check in.

Sanitising stations:

We have created sanitising stations throughout the building and everyone has access to sanitizing supplies if they want some for their areas. We have a robust cleaning schedule throughout the building too.

We ask all members to sanitise their hands regularly specifically when using the kitchen area.

Advise and signs:

We are all getting used to seeing these signs around. We have done our bit to ensure we have the relevant advise available.

We have consulted our risk assessment when implementing all safety provisions. We will continue to review our procedures in line with government guidance to ensure that we have everything covered.

We are confident that we can offer a safe workspace for all our members to come back too. We opened up on the 1st June and have had members in working each day.
