On Wednesday 24th June we invite you to join us in our Slack Chat to discuss the topic. ‘How we can live more sustainably at hone and at work? – Some ideas on what you can do and your questions answered on how to start making some easy changes.’ The PlanetSHINE team, Rachel, Laura and Julie will be on hand to answer your questions and offer advise on what we could all be doing on to improve how choices at home to become more sustainable and environmentally aware.
During this time of lockdown it has given many of us time to reflect on lifestyle choices. The forced slowdown may have given us time to consider different ways we could shop to do our bit to reduce our use of plastic and be more environmentally conscious. Lots of people say they want to be more environmentally friendly in their purchases but often it is hard to find readily available alternatives to the high street and supermarket staples. The planetSHINE team will help us navigate some of the questions you have around this.
The purpose of this slack chat to to provide practical help and pointers in how to get started in finding sustainable products and adopting sustainable practices in your home.
What is the idea behind Slack Chat?
We want to continue to offer our community a platform and opportunity to share ideas and best practice in a relaxed and friendly way. We have all been really busy with various video calls recently. We don’t want to load you up with too many more. Our Slack Chats offer a way for us to share knowledge, learn and ask questions in an informal way that allows us to dip in and out of the conversation as we like. Similar to how we would if we were having a chat in the kitchen at Society1.
The idea is to set a date and window of time where we chat, on Slack, about a topic of interest, share ideas and best practice. There will be an expert from our community on hand during the chat to help with the conversation and offer some pointers and advise too.
We would love you to join us for this next Slack Chat. Simply login into slack and join the conversation in the ‘Slack Chat’ channel.
