A new art course was announced to be held at Society1 – Art is Line, Tone and Texture
Art is Line, Tone, Texture
by Ali Brown Art & Creative Media.
Starting 16th October for 10 weeks.
Society1 Member Ali Brown is hosting a brand new art course at Society1 in October.
About the course:
How many people just LOVE to draw but feel that they don’t have the confidence? Art is equally about the journey as it is about the finished piece and this is what the course aims to convey.
There are people in the local community that long for some contact with others in a safe environment doing something they love. Working online via video has gotten us over a difficult time but you can’t beat that feeling of being in a bit of human company. In this course you can leave your limiting self beliefs at the door as you take the chance to practice and, maybe even master, the basics of working in black and white using different materials.
Coffee Catch Ups
We are continuing to host our regular members coffee catch ups online. This is something that we started in lockdown and have continued. There are still lots of us still working from home so these online catch ups give us the opportunity to chat together like we normally would at Society1. They have been a great way to keep the community connected. We will definitely continue to do this.
